America doesn’t control our lives. But their grandparents gave their lives 70 years ago so we could be free. I hope Duterte has a very good plan.

ngano man diay karon, wa pa diay ma-lost ang shoal ug spratlys considering we don't have control of it?

and i don't need to back read kay i've been here long enough for you to know in which it may holds true we don't have military powers but i'm sure we are not helpless

besides, oyon man ko ug okay man ng we negotiate but the problem is the terms being dictated by China ... i mean it's not really a negotiation but for us to take it or leave it directive

Like I said, back read, I ask you a question on what actions would you take, If you are on the sit of the Presidency, right? And you said End Diplomatic Relationship with china. Whats next, how can we take back the shoals and spratlys, we don't have enough strength and military power. whats next, remember your decision will affect our economy, stock exchange.

We can only do this through Diplomatic solutions.

okay man ang independent foreign policy pero di biyaan natu ang US ... amaw na man hinuon ni si digong kay nibiya sa US then nangusog makigsandurot sa China ug Russia nga maayo lang unta makabuhat dayon treaty within sa term ni digong nga sa pagbuhat ra ba sa treaty between countries kay mu-take time ra ba then 1-term lang si digong ug 71 years old na

A comment made out of lack of foresight and heart for the general public.

The issue started way back 1950s..hangtod karon wa pa ghpon na maayo and dli jud na maayo kay d jud na buhian sa China. The best any president can do is to compromise and talk with each other for a middle ground. Else, it would be very bloody. Plain and simple.

If we end diplomatic talks with China and rely on the powerless and toothless UNCLOS ruling, will we ever get near the shoal and fish in it? will we ever have a share of possible oil on the said region?

What did US do? They never did anything. Useless sad, kay they are heavily indebted to China. They cannot initiate a war with China for they know the price they need to pay to win one.

Now, why will we stop the development of our country just because of our PRO-US sentiments? CHina is the number 1 exporter of our fruits and other stuff. Most of our imported goods comes from China as well.

how could it be an out of foresight and heart when the case before it was filed in UNCLOS tribunal, it was researched and studied well. besides, the Ph didn't lacked the chance in going or approaching China for a talk but what China did to us ... they just ignore knowing if they're a good neighbor in Asia then how come they don't abide ITLOS?

besides, if the issue all started in 1950s then how come China didn't pursue it while US bases was still here? so kaning mga Instik dire wa gyud pakabana in which if digong dislikes US because of it's past deeds to us then it's just equals what is China doing to us now in Scarborough or Spratly shoals

China really have bad intentions in which ang nakita ninyo ang materialistic aspects ra ug wa mo mag-huna2x sa future Filipino generations nga tingali namahala namo nga okay lang naa ta makuha karon bisan gamay kaysa wa gyud ... oh gush, what a plain and simple reasons

hadlok gyud mo end diplomatic relation nga China ra na, not world. research those countries who have experienced economic embargo nga nakaya gani nila knowing it's world ... so if kaya natu mupahilayo US then kaya sab natu mupahilayo China

tricky man gud kaayo na issue. China has been in the world for quite a long time and occupied this part of Asia since ancient times. Una pa gud sila nagtrade sa mga old Pinoys na wala pa nirecognize sa ila pagka-Pinoy, iya iya tribes pa ato sauna.

    Oh well.
