Default Pila ang ipabayad nako as photographer?

    Hi,

Daghan sige inquire about my rate pero maglisod ko ug tubag.

    * Let's say naay magpa-photoshoot lang nga group (3 ka tao), more on group shots ug naa silay solo mga 5 shots each. Pila man ako ipabayad?

    * Sa pre-nup, pila pod dapat ipabayad?

*If solo photoshoot lang, pila pod dapat ipabayad?

Let's say, maximum of 50 photos akong mahimo ana. I shoot always in RAW unya ako gyod na i-edit each photo using Lightroom. Unya digital copies ra akong ihatag.

    I'm using Nikon d7000 with 35mm 1:1.8G and 18-15mm

    Palihog tambagi... Daghang salamat!!!

@dramaturgo, hmmmm...that is a good question that every photographer asks themselves...

Now, there are a lot of things that you have to consider....

    1. Experience... you mentioned about funshoots only but you did not specify if you have tried covering for a wedding, birthdays and other events.

    2. Gears...yes, you also noted your equipments. But ask yourself, are the gears you have right now will be able to carry a big responsibility to cover for a wedding? Yes, maybe or NO....naa ra gyud na dira ang tubag ana. So, basing on my understanding, if mudwat ka anang wedding and you tell them your rate, will you be the main photographer? Or are you going to work alone or you have a team?

    3. Skills...how do you rate your skills? If ikaw pa tan-awon sa imong mga kuha and outputs...how would you rate them? Without bias, that is. Compare your outputs also with others nga "ka-level" nimo and check out their gears pud.

    4. Time...another thing you need to consider, the length of time you will be spending in covering for an event and how long do you edit your photos whether your using LR of PS. You also have to add it so you can come up with a right value/rate as your TF....

Take note, when you give your rates, your clients will not care what gears you are using, how much time you spend on editing those photos but they will always base it on your OUTPUTS. So make sure when you deliver, you can deliver those photos that would leave them with a good impression of you. Make sure that they will have this "wow factor experience" so they can also recommend you to their friends and relatives, for that matter.

Personally, lisod ko mu bungad ug rates, if somebody would ask me. hehehe... but then again, hope this helps.....

    SORRY MEDYO TAAS AKONG REPLY...hehehehe

Wow! Karon ganahan ko mo level-up gamay, sama pananglitan naay namugos nako to shoot for bunyag og wedding, simple ra nga wedding ug wala sila nag-expect ug super nice outputs.

    Thanks!!!

lisod bitaw bai... been there done that but hangtod karon gani medyo lisod pa pud ug bungad..but then gain, invest lang sa ko sa akong skills and creative shots pud.. kay para nako kulang pa kaayo ko dira dapita...

But if you don't mind, can I see some of your sample shots?

Other sizes of prints naa corresponding nga presyo. Unya naay fine print sa ubos sa listahan - * Subject to change without prior notice *. So kung mo charge ka, included na ang default expenses ana like transportation which only good around the City, extra charge ka kung di layo kaayo the add the required photos in prints. As much as possible handle the prints aron ma maayo ang resulta with you sa suki nimo nga tigprinta or ikaw na mismo ang mo printa. The cost is higher than the lab kay apil na diha ang allowance in case naay sipyat sa printing, naa pa ka room for repeat printing cost. If you decide ikaw mag print on your own printer, nagpasabot na kahibalo na ka unsa ka importante ang calibration to get the best expected output.

before you step into semi-pro or paid service, evaluate your gear kung ready na ba ka masugamak sa mga demands and challenges of photography.

what im trying to say basically, is that are your gears enough to tackle the demands of the scenario? For example, do you have enough strobes, reflectors, light modifiers, lenses and other gears?

Kay ang funshoot pwede raman na stock equipment or kit, pero ang paid service you must not go and do your thing without showing the client nga completo ka sa basic gears or else they will begin to doubt your capability (or maybe not your capability but perhaps the output), because post production or editing is just secondary, ang priority nimo is getting most of it right on location, the lighting, the composition.

--- but don't worry, you can still start from small clients then mag anam ka invest ug gear para makaatubang na ka ug bigger projects.
