Film photography is cheaper kung huna.on nato.. ang chaeapest full frame (35mm) nga dslr ron naa sa mga $1500 about Php74,835.. let's say lang naka kuha ka ug camera for Php4k.. then ato ingnon mo shoot ta ug 1 roll per month then mag Do plus scan that's about Php280.. if sakto ako math.. ang difference sa dslr ug ang 4k nga film would mean maka shoot ka 1 roll with do and scan for 21 years... even entry level nga dslr ron, ato i.peg sa 21k.. mag shoot ka for 6 years...

I've had my share shooting films having a Canon A1 and F1New as bodies and a slew of FD lens. I still have them in spite of shifting to Nikon DSLRs (D750 as latest acquisition). I do not know if there are still batteries for my Canon A1. My F1 New can run mechanically from 1/60 (flash synch) to 1/2000 shutter speeds without battery (no metering) but has a stuck shutter release. I'll be in Cebu for the coming Sinulog and I wonder if there are good camera repair shops that can mend the stuck shutter and clean FD lens. If there are, I might bring my film cameras and shoot film on the side.

Hello i need help locating stores that still sells and develop 135mm films. Bag o ra kug balik diri sa cebu. So i would need some specific stores and address pls. So far i only found macys atbang sa sm... nakapalit kog expire films gahapon... i found my old minolta sweet alpha... and seems like its still working fine.wanna give it a try...thanks.
