Grabe kahadlok, sobra aho nervious kung bedtime na kay almost every sleep jud naho naa jud bangungot which i only experienced here outside phils. adto sad ko og doctor then wala silay findings, until i told my mom about it(through phone), maayo gani kay diha akong amigo sad sya nag-advice og inom gyud og water before going to bed then dili sad daw mag cge og huna-huna kung mohigda na (w/c i used to, kay kining homesick )..now( thanks to God & to my friend)wala na ko ka experience og bangutngot, basta inom lang gyud og tubig before matulog
sa akong nahibaw an about sa bangungot/ urom kay ang posisyon daw nimo sa pagtulog... kung busog ka or bugat imo tiyan....
most people who experienced urom or AHP slept on their stomach or on their backs... took som alcohol, or on a full stomach. findings stated that ang atong stomach ug ang imong position sa pagtulog daw ang cause sa condition ani... ang rason ani kay madatugan ang pancreas sa atong stomach causing it to release an acid that causes the AHP.
one suggestion daw kung matulog mo nga busog, sleep on your side... magtakilid ka matulog, kanang marelax ang imong tummy para dili mastressed out ang pancreas ug dili cya madatugan..
no relation though about eating noodles and bangungot... although there's no harm in believing it... at least prevented ka

I got it as an email from my best friend in New Zealand. Whether there's some truth to it or not I was deeply interested cause a son of mine died at the age of 17. He lived in another city with relatives. There was a big party for him and I guess he had too much to eat & drink - AND he doesn't drink at all. He died in his sleep and they told me it was bangungot. I don't know if he had eaten noodles though that night but I'm pretty sure he had been drinking and that's something he's not used to.
Just thought some people would be interested in this topic too. Maybe we should just refrain from eating noodles and also drinking /eating too much right before bedtime. It does make sense cause noodles really does absorb a whole lot of water.

I'm sorry for your loss...
kato na article ba, i think niingon to na ang cause sa AHP kay noodles kay tungod pud sa ilang food preference. kusog baya na cla mangaon ana. i think kung busog ka, naa tendency nga ang pancreas moexcrete ug daghan na kaayo na ezyme para madigest ang food causing it to inflame. plus alcohol, mosamot jud ang AHP.
lol! mao sad ni ingon ako lola! haha..Originally Posted by wayuk
