    kung friends, plain form.
the very polite forms are used for people who are older than you and you just met recently (like for the first time, or 2nd time maybe) or with people who hold higher positions in the workplace.

    chan is for little girls

sometimes among friends, they use chan

kun is for male, in the office, you can hear japanese male calling them "kun" to imply that they are family
    - its also use for little boys

    your safest bet is "san"

"sama" is basically use for ,yeah lord or something like that

    sensei is for teacher, doctors

if you dont know the person personally, always use "san"

Naa bya diay to Nihongo speech contest sa Conference Hall sa SM last Jan. 28.. I'm sure there'll be another one around the middle of this year, or next year pa tingali...

Abuot, ganbatte kudasai. Maybe you can join the next contest. Winners have the chance to compete in the National contest in Manila (Shangri-la ang venue this year, all expenses paid) and the winners in the National contest will win a kind of educational tour in Japan. All expenses paid na gihapon.

With your determination, I think I'll be hearing news of your victory hehe.. And it would be hitting two birds with one stone, right?
