i do not have a definite answer on this one, can't find the info in nokia ngage user manuals and tutorials.
scour the forum.ngagegaming.com for end-user claims of MMC compatibility. some claim to have successfully used 512mb, even 2gb. others reported file corruption at higher sizes, probably due to the inability of the device to provide enough juice to some power-hungry memory cards.

Note: The inbuilt MultiMediaCard (MMC) reader in Nokia 6630 imaging smartphone functions on 1.8 Volt, and therefore it requires dual voltage MMC (the card can support both 1.8V and 3.0V). Separately sold Nokia branded reduced size MultiMediaCards (MMC) are dual voltage cards.

funny thing is the 3230 doesnt work with 256mb RSMMC. only 128mb and lower
havent tested 512mb though...anyone tested it na that can confirm my findings?
