Comp Sci & Comp Eng'g: Dapat ba nga tagaan ug board exams?

im a comsci student in XU. .

Is it necessary ba nga tagaan pa ug board exams ang mga graduate sa Bachelor of Science in Computer Science? Why??

Hinoon pud. .di man pud ni titulado na course pero dapat ba nga tagaan ug board exams?

It think so and I would even think that all courses must have something like the board exam. But the exams must be something like the certification exams where majority of the questions are practical and not purely theoretical, unlike what most board exams now.

so ang comsci bro, doesnt make sense kung naay board exam. wala man gani ang computer engineering.

certifications ra gyud nang mga IT related courses.

murag kanang korso nga naay board steady naman na ilang gitun-an i mean dili nana mag usab usab ang theory ba....dili pareha anang computer nga usab usab almost every month....kay pirme lang maghimo ug bag-ong applications ang mga programmers...so sakto ra gyud nang certification...

I dont think kinahanglan na naa board exam. Evolving man gud ang technology, and at the same time evolving sad ang mga programming languages. What is applicable or most used language now, may not be in the next future. Dli gyud xa fixed ba nga naay standard.. Para sa akoa lang......

but somehow naa man baya mga exams for IT related. mga certification like CISCO.. and then katong sa Tesda ...

dre sa CIT sa PHILNITS(Philippine National IT Standards) pud sila naka focus kon certification na hisgotan....i dont know unsay naa ani pero nindot cya kay pwede maka apil tanan graduate sa computers not only for comsci but to computer engineering and IT students as well...

if, there is or there should be board exam..i agree with yokam.. application dili theory.And if application sad...sa kadaghan cs grads, how long will it takes for someone para mabal an ila result. Unsa sad basis sa ilang pag check nga lahi lahi man ug programming style and skills...
