    Matthew 19:21
Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."

    Luke 18:22
When Jesus heard this, he said to him, "You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."

The priest"s only reminds us that the money that we have would never bring us to heaven. Money is essential to the physical body but never to the soul. We love our leaders and we ought to offer the best that we could, it is rather mundane and humanly offerings and though did never even correlate with the actual and real purpose.

The problem is not asking for donations, but in the demanding of tithes. The Old Testament is quite explicit on the collection of tithes and how they were to be used.

1.) It is only the tenth 1/10, and not the first 1/10, it is food of the bountiful harvest to be offered in a great feast among the community of the temple. It never was monies, nor was it demanded to be the best of both crop or animals.

2.) It was only to be collected by the Levites in service of the Great Temple. Christ never demanded tithes because he was from the family of David, and not a Levite. To do so would have been considered a act of Blasphemy before his father.

3.) There is no Great Temple in existence, so no tithes are to be given.

4.) Tithes were restricted in how they were to be used, and the modern church breaks the law on how tithes are to be used, and they have no right to collect tithes.

5.) To give tithes to a church in itself is an act of blasphemy. Churches that demand tithes are blasphemers; and if priest, preachers, and ministers demand tithes then they are blasphemers. And to do so can only be considered an act of sin.

It is in the Old Testament for all to read. It is the Law of God and no matter how evil man or con-artist wants to change those rules for their own gain, it is what it is. It is a sin. Read the book and you will see it for yourself, then you will begin to see the sin and corruption of the churches. The son of God could not do what these mere men demand? Men of God should read the book they hold in their hands as they lie to you, that is if they were truly men of God. Blasphemy and sin is still blasphemy and sin. A church that openly practices blasphemy and sin is a lie, and God will not dwell in a den of thieves and liars presiding over a false church. It is what it is, simple to the laws of God.

i would agree that those who call-out god's name loud in public are the biggest @$$hole$...
that's tantamount to what signifies an ape beating his chest in the wild.

You can blame billions of people ( priest , laymens , bishops , popes , pastors , gurus , masters , etc. )

    of being hypocrisy

But the religion can never be hypocrisy itself.

mas dako ka chance maka sala ka kung wala ka kwarta... so its easier to go to hell if you dont have money

its hard to go to heaven if you arent content with what you have..

dont really care.. dont believe in hell anyway... only heaven... why in the world would we deny ourselves the pleasures of this life.. life is meant to be enjoyed to the fullest..
