    Default Larger hotlinked images

Is there any chance that Istorya would allow for larger hotlinked images?

Like say 2,048 pixels at the longest end like say Facebook or Instagram?

Smaller images are forgivable when everyone had a 56kbps dial up modem but it's turning 2018 in less than 2 months and everyone's on LTE, 3G, Fiber or DSL already.

Just to try out and see if what you are saying is true...

Kani nga image below is a 4k ultra HD image (3840 x 2400)

If this appears, then i guess your statement is false.
    Or... basin nasayop ko'g sabot.

So Boss, mo-hotlink man ang istorya og larger images. (keyword : hotlink)
Pero am not sure if unsa jud imong pasabot.

    Mo-hotlink?
    Mo-embed?
    Mo-host?
    Dili mo-crunch?

    Unsa gani imo pasabot Boss?

    Para unsa na Boss?
Kay sa ako pagsabot, istorya is not a photo hosting site man gud.

Just wanna know what is this really all about.

It appears Istorya resized your 3840 x 2400 image served by wallpapersafari and displays it at 833x521px only

I want the image served by flickr.com to be displayed on Istorya at 2048px on the longest side.

No one is using 56kbps dialup anymore and in 11 weeks we will enter 2018.

By now everyone is on LTE, 3G, Fiber and DSL.

2048px is the standard of Facebook. All Pinoys are on Facebook.

Awwwsss... so ang crunching of images diay imo pasabot.
I maybe wrong but I believe even facebook, twitter and even whatsapp crunches images man pod Boss.

Yes, our ISP's internet speed may have increased.
Pero people forget that this is a FREE online community with PAID SERVING HOSTING.
(kindly correct me if i am wrong on these though).
Hosting large size files (not only photos) can spike-up the PAID server usage.
Larger server usage in general can prompt higher hosting charges.

You are a senior member. I am CIA.
And both of us are just registered non-paying members.

I really think this boils down to the very good fact that iStorya is not a photo hosting site.
And this is better for me at least.

    ... just my 2 cents ...
