"phpMyAdmin" or "MySQL Console", which is better?

I was having a hard time dealing with my brain in choosing between this two cool tools, but most of the webhosting company have phpMyAdmin but MySQL console is much more powerful... I don't know, I am still a noob...

pag.anad nlng sa duha, mas powerful ang imong learning experience if you use the console, and use phpmyadmin. Both have pros and cons, but if used together, you get to understand what you are doing in the console because you can visualize it using phpmyadmin

waaaaaaaa!.... mana ko install phpMyAdmin pero, naay error msg nga mubalik... Client does not support authentication protocol, considering.......

Pero kung mo log in ko using anonymous w/out password dawat man xa...haaaay naku!...
