bay wa ko internet sa ako ubuntu.. i need to install compiz fusion.deb.. kinsa man naay compiz fusion.deb ninyo.. just upload it sa 4shared.com.. or just give me link..

kinsa sad kamao ninyo mo install tar.gz.. naa ko mga tar.gz puro ra man gud pang extract.. but i don't know how to install it..

to extract the .tar.gz file just type tar xvf file.tar.gz
go to the folder: cd foldername
type ./configure or try reading the README inside that folder naay steps didto to install and configure

i would suggest reading the README file first.

Bro, unsa'y version sa imong Ubuntu? For Feisty Fawn and newer versions, built in na man ang compiz-fusion. However, kinahanglan pa nimo i download ang driver sa imong graphics card although if ATI imong card, usually modagan na ang compiz using the open source drivers.

Assuming you have installed the graphics card driver, activate compiz fusion by clicking:

System>Preferences>Appearance>Visual Effects.

If ATI imo card try activating compiz without installing the proprietry graphics card driver. Modagan lagi na.

More tips:

if you want to customize Compiz, download/install CompizConfig Settings Manager. It's a small file to manage Compiz plugins.

if you want an ubuntu with compiz pre-installed with flash and various codecs. Try Linux Mint XFCE 9
