Default Is Justice Blind for the Common Juan Dela Cruz?

Filipino Culture | Jonas Burgos’ Blood Cries Out for Justice

Jonas Burgos is an activist and a leader of a peasant group in Bulacan. He was forcibly taken by armed men four years ago and has since been missing.
What struck me hard is the incapability of our judicial system to prosecute, let alone question, the man who is believed to be the mastermind behind the abduction - Army Major Harry Baliaga Jr.
Sadly, justice is not blind in our country. The rich, powerful, and influential get away from all their wrongdoings and the poor remains oppressed and abused.

The thread title is misinformed. Justice should always be blind because that would imply that it has no bias which ensures fair judgement.

The question should be "Is Justice helpless for the Common Juan Dela Cruz?" or, to be more melodramatic, "Is Justice dead for the Common Juan Dela Cruz?"
