    Default "The 300" Training Regimen

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6Eyg32W4aE

Check out the link above first.

I find their training interesting and inspirational.
Almost all of the cast of 300 have 6-8 packs.

This would be a good example of variation of exercises would produce nice body.

as far as i know.. most of these guys trained from scratch.. and for the duration of 8 weeks.. 5-6 days a week. because of their use of relatively light weight.. and on most part.. almost all their movements are concentric.. plus they are given the best nutrition and supliments there is for recovery.. and they did not have to do anything else .. well. .because this is their job..

for those who are familiar with crossfit.. it is somwhat like EDT.. all compund movements.. somtimes combining 2 compound movements.. for example.. crossfit workout "Fran"

front squat to military press in one movement

    superset with

    burpee to pull-ups

this is more or less a jacked up version..but you are given a set time to perfom as many as you can.. and you improve on that..

this is the crossfit workout "300"

    25x Pull-up +
    50x Deadlift @ 135# +
    50x Push-up +
    50x Box Jump @ 24” box +
    50x Floor Wiper @ 135# (one-count) +
50x KB Clean and Press @ 36# (KB must touch floor between reps) +
    25x Pull-up
    300 reps total

this is done for time.. as in .. stopwatch in hand and see how fast you can finish (or if you can finish)

of course they dont do this everyday.. part of the beauty of crossfit is the randomness of the workouts.. it almost like having a deck of cards and picking a card out

it was a good point, "making the exercise randomly so the body won't adopt to one thing".. i would definitely take that advice.

8 weeks? damn!! that's a short span of time, that means its a whole lot of work to do..
