Have you been to a place where being blind seem to be the most normal thing? Where you would see blind children taking part in activities that, at one time, only the sighted enjoy? Where you would see blind kids beaming as they sing Christmas songs, join in games, participate or compete in talent presentation and most of all receiving Christmas gifts? Well, that’s what it’s like in RBI’s annual Christmas Party for Blind Children!
We want to create an environment for these children that will help develop the physical, emotional, social, and even spiritual aspects of their lives. Last year, 70 blind kids came in the party. And for this year we are expecting 100 blind kids from all over Cebu province to join in together with their parents and their respective teachers. These will be on December 14, 2012 (Friday) from 9:00AM to 3:00PM at The Event Centre of SM City Cebu.
In this regard, we would like to reach out to you. May we ask help in making this Christmas party possible for these children? We will greatly appreciate any amount or anything that you can share.
As the intermediary of the program, we believe that through this collaborative effort, it provides an excellent opportunity to show that you does care about the communities you are involve in and that you are concerned about reaching out to those with impairments. To fully grasp their importance, we would be very glad if you can drop by and see the program.
