Default Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program For All Professionals Discussion

    Hi istoryans!

Decided to make this thread kay naglisod kog find ug info sa internet about aning CPD na required na siya for all professionals. It's been posted by a lot of my college friends who are now professionals and medyo nabother ko kay wala nko nagpractice for almost 2 years na. What about katong mga naa sa abroad?

Salamat.

[p.s. this is my bf's istorya acct. nakigamit rko. hehe. ]

Hi. As far as I know, you have to attend seminars and workshops that give CPD units. You have to collect (not sure kung sakto ba ang term) a certain number of units para maka-renew ka og license. Not sure pila ka units needed sa MTs but for us RTs, we need 45 units. I'm not sure lang kung when ni i-implement pero ang akong hearing is that Jan2017 na daw ni which I think is unfair for people na padong na expire ang license next year and wala pa kasugod og gather og CPD units. This goes to those professionals who don't practice their profession but magrenew gihapon. For people working abroad, I think pwede pud mu-attend og workshops and seminars that give CPD units then ipa-credit lang sa Pinas for a certain fee yata (not sure).

    Hope this helps.

Good nga padong najud mahimo ug law ang CPD...

Bad... kay some companies are non-compliant.

I know there are excellent / skilled technicians and laborers who have potentials to become managers... pero instead of directly giving to them the position... best thing is for the company to sponsor these individuals for ETEEAP or Master's Degree. Then encouraging them to take the PRC Licensure Exams.

Nah. Mao jud. If I-implement gani ni nila, dapat naa sad sila categorization sa work if licensed or non-licensed kay alkanes ang mga lisensyado.

licensed or not doesn't matter.. but in the case sa among profession (GE) kailangan jud ug license before maka pirma ug mga plans thus all these necessary CPDs. Mahal pajud kaau ang conventions sa amoa, registration is around 5k within R7 palang nah how much more if sa national level.
